Wolves is a dark and gritty short film set in the South of England. The story follows Mae, a quiet girl, who befriends two dangerous, petty thieves as she seeks to get back what was taken from her. However, she quickly finds herself wrapped up in illegal and violent situations that push her morals to breaking point. The film blends action with neorealism to create a fast-pace gripping story with real grounded characters. This story shines a light on the ugly underbelly of petty theft and shows why certain people are pushed to a life of crime. We want to look at the ideals of masculinity, how one generation can affect another and the chain reaction that can have on them and the women around them.
